Each chalet is unique thanks to its altitude, its slope, its flora – and the know-how of the cheese-maker, who adds his special touch to the cheese. From among some thirty chalets, where they still make Gruyère d’Alpage over a wood fire, we have selected the Vounetz chalet owned by the Piller family.
