Manouri is a goat and sheep milk cheese made from the whey left over from making Feta! So, it resembles to Feta but is creamier and less salty than Feta, which is due to the cheesemaker adding goat milk cream during its production. It has a creamy, rich, and velvety texture, a buttery flavour, and a fresh and light aroma. It can be enjoyed cold, hot or grilled. The mildness of Manouri pairs very well with dry or sweet wines, light to medium-bodied, with low acidity, or with sparkling wines.
