The Greek triple cream! Feta’s little brother! Authentic Manouri with PDO certification. The Manouri is a cheese made with both sheep and goat’s milk, from the whey produced when making Feta! It looks a bit like Feta, but it is a soft cheese. It is also creamier and less salty than Feta, thanks to the cream that the cheesemaker adds during the production process. The result: Manouri is delicate and sweet, with a tangy, milky flavour and a hint of lemon. You can enjoy it in many different ways. The Arvanitis cheese dairy has on several awards, including a gold medal at the World Cheese Awards 2019-2020 in Italy, and this is the one chosen by our master cheesemaker. Since its creation in 1980, three generations have carried on the tradition of the dairy, always with the same objective in mind: to promote the Greek cheese making tradition throughout the world. Located in the Macedonia region of Greece, the dairy is surrounded by pastures – the ideal conditions for honouring their commitment to use 100% Greek milk from farms located within a 70 km radius.
