The mild weather, i.e. regular and light rainfall, and the constant supply of warm air from the sea, makes the soil fertile and the pastures rich. This Isigny butter embodies all these beneficial elements. Its yellow buttercup colour and its subtle nutty flavour were reason enough to award it the official AOP quality label in 1986. It has a smooth spreadable texture.
