Originally from Mexico, the Jalapeño pepper is a variety of hot pepper historically cultivated around the city of Xalapa, in the state of Veracruz. Its colour ranges from green to red, according to its maturity. Ripened for four months, this cheese has a spicy, intense flavour that’s very pleasant on the tongue. The combination of the spicy pepper and the ewe’s milk cheese is very well balanced and will delight anyone who loves trying new flavours.
