The English tend to produce lots of square and rectangular cheeses, like the one that we are presenting to you. This cheddar is unique in that it is stored in oak boxes during the ageing process. The cheeses are stored for many months and turned over regularly just like wine. Depending on how the cheeses develop, only the best ones are selected to be aged for up to 18 months. These cheeses have a delicious lingering taste and a creamy and melt-in-the-mouth texture. They are packaged in an attractive wooden box.
