Farm-made product. Grevenbroecker is a purely artisanal-produced raw milk cheese with a unique marbled structure. Its blue veins do not arise through pricking, but rather precise stacking of the curd. It is ripened for at least ten weeks and will keep for a long time under good external conditions. In the course of ripening its taste becomes increasingly intense. In 2009 the Catharinadal dairy farm received a Caseus Award 2009 for this creamy blueveined cheese! This, as is well known, is a kind of Oscar for cheese. Delivered in a nice wooden basket.
